Dashboard
Brand new feature for lemoon® CMS.
Dashboard opens up entirely new possibilities for the use of a CMS. Traditionally, a CMS is a place mostly for editors - update images and text.
With the Dashboard, then your Content Management System becomes a natural focal point for the entire company, CEO, sales, marketing, technology, HR, everyone will find a good reason to have the Dashboard as a home.
Dashboard is a surface which fills up with so-called widgets on your needs. Dashboard can in turn consist of tabs. Each unit within the company may have predetermined the widgets that fills their needs. Thereafter, it is up to each user to create their own tab in the Dashboard with their favorite widgets. Se example below.
Example: Sell tab in Dashboard could consist of widgets for:
Statistics - you have done a campaign, advertising, and would like to see the effect directly. Place a widget on Dashboard for statistics. Lift up the statistics you want, and can evaluate!
KPI - extract figures directly from your ERP system. Correlate sales figures with web statistics. Does more visitors really mean more sales or?
Micro Blog - discuss directly on the dashboard the figures and comments shown on the dashboard.(simular to own internal twitter)
Business Intelligence - Use RSS By creating an inflow from sources where you hope to get reactions from your current operation, add feeds from your competitors and other channels of interest.
Comment watch - What do your visitors say on your side with regards to your products and services.
Something fun - a widget that is not directly business-critical, but that makes the visit to the Dashboard something more joyful.
(We have the statistics on the always ongoing internal battle of our soccer game)
To summarize, Dashboard is a kind of business intelligence portal where you not only collect figures from your own pages but also other external data that you can use to enhance your business.
Make sure to take advantage of the investment you made in your side, there are lots of useful information which is normally just go to waste. Give everyone the same conditions within your company to make decisions based on accurate information!
